Responses from post 'bout Tanner'sDevil Part 2

anon1 & Shai: the ending was rather rushed, but I'm working out the kinks and I'll remember show don't tell. Thank you. I will address all the unanswered questions in the final version.

I changed the book cover AGAIN until I find the cover I'm happy with. This is just a mediocre version, but can't find the couple that I need or want on the cover.

Responses to Post from the Ending of Tanner's Devil

(taking a bow)

Whew!

That's over and finished and now I am breaking until the end of April. Yes, I know that 's a long time, but I need to concentrate on a lot of projects that are in the works as we speak.

F.Y.I.

Tonight (03/30/06) at 6pm, I'll be doing and Internet Marketing for Everyone workshop at the Entrepreneur Institute - Wayne County Community College Eastern Campus. It's a free course and if you're interested, drop in.

In answer to the upcoming calendar event for me, I've started a listing at:

http://sylviahubbard.com/calendar.html

It's still a work in progress and I haven't even added it to the nav bar yet.

On April 4th I'll be doing the Delores Thornton http://www.globaltalkradio.com/shows/around2itbooknook/

I'd like all of you to tune in and tell everyone to do the same and send me really hard questions to mess me up on air - or try to, but I'm pretty much on my game when it comes to my books and writing. LOL.

Now Dezi, I didn't post your comments because ... well some of it was positive and some were negative. I do appreciate your critique of my work and I've resolved that people will think what they think. I'd love for you to please email me off loop and let me know exactly what you thought was lame and what you didn't like.

As for the negative comments you had about certain members responses to your critique, I really couldn't publish those because I'm the only one that they get to kill, LOL.

Sweets: I'll be uploading the full version only until the end of the day Friday so download it fast at my lulu site: http://lulu.com/sylviahubbard. Hit it after 2pm today when the full version will b be there.

Eva: please don't cry. Story is over with and I can't give you anymore. Sorry

Anon1, 2 & beeutee: Thank you .

Kim: no i haven't found another cover for the book. couldn't find a pic of a black woman and white man. got some?

Sing Dammit: (still love the nick name, LOL) You're welcome, glad I could let the baby live. And I wish I had me a Devlin too.

Shai: I'll be doing Pari's story soon. Working it out in my head as we speak. And no there are no deleted scenes to post. This is not a DVD crazy.

Suprina: I will go get some rest, thank you!

Tanner's Devil Part 43.3

I seriously phucked up the template on this blog. Don't know what I did or how i did it, but I erased EVERYTHING!

good thing blogger is like idiot proof and I put all my HTML's in a safe place. The blog should be back to normal by the end of the day.

Guess what, JDub, I started my belly dancing workout regime. Got the DVD on amazon and when I woke up this morning it felt like someone had punched me in the stomach all night long. LOL. But it was so worth it. If I could just lose my kangaroo pouch, I'd be da bomb!

sorry for taking so long for this post too and thank you all for the words of encouragement.

Yeah, I been pretty quiet in the response department and those comments i chose to post from the readers instead of rejecting was mean, yeah but I'm a writer and I should take critique of my work openly. So I decided to let it go and see what you all said about it.

And yes, you are paying my child's tuition because her worthless father refuses to pay. He moved to another state and taking money under the table so no one can trace him. He won't even give me an address. Yes, I blame myself, but this is a handup not a handout. I am a single mother of three working like a Jamaican to get the job done. I'm not taking advantage of the system and I'm contributing towards the system too with every dime I earn and the taxes I pay.

Okay, Enjoy!...

Author Interuption: How To Love A Black Woman Blog Update

I have posted a blog entry on my How To Love A Black Woman Journal. I know I've been out of commission there all wrapped up in Tanner's Devil and also promoting my new paperback book, Mistaken Identity, which by the way is now at like 110K @ Amazon!

The topic of the blog is: Love to the 4th Degree. I wanted to write about the true sense of the word and how it is viewed and how it should be experience. Please read it and post a comment to let me know what ya think.

Thanks for all your support and I'll be posting the last of the church scene by the end of the day. In peer to peer training and listening to this operator and trying to write and emotional scene is difficult.

Tanner's Devil: Author Interuption

In no way am I trying to keep the story from you.

Friday was not a good day. I dropped my daughter off at daycare and i was told she was being kicked out because FIA closed my case. Of course this was not my fault. The daycare had not submitted any payment for my kids in 10 weeks so FIA felt my case was dormant and decided to close the case. All the while also closing the office where I go and now my case file can't be located.

Needless to say, I was bussin all over town trying to get documentation, copies of birth certificates, immunization records, bills, rent receipts and all the other ugly mess that goes with proving I'm worthy for the state to pay a $500 dollar bill for day care.

Don't cha just love being a single parent and all the beauty that goes with it?

I still have so much to do today, but things are looking a little bit up, I guess. I just need to get a copy of my daughter birth certificate - who was born in Florida - but I think the school has it - hopefully - and then I have to get a copy of my last utility bill.

So I'm going to try to post the last scene at church with Tanner, Donetello and Devlin before I leave at 12.

In no way do I mean to leave you guys hanging like that and I know i should have at least emailed something to the blog, but life gets in the way of the things we love to do all the time and my life is an every day Murray's Law and I just roll with the punches.

Sylvia Hubbard

Tanner's Devil Part 43.1

Yes, this is short, but I wanted to post before the time got away from me. And heck yes, it is a cliff hanger! I'm typing it live actually because I've been at a meetign all this time and I couldn't back to it, so even if you do break in my house ya won't get a thing, Shai, LOL>

BTW, I'm just falling out my chair about my ranking on Amazon for Mistaken Identity. That is over cool!

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0977443515/qid=1143144747/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/104-5629983-8770345?s=books&v=glance&n=283155

In any case, I wanted to let you guys know, if you're read Mistaken Identity, Please go to Amazon and post or just post if you want to read it and just love anything else I did, LOL.
And if you're read Stone's Revenge, post at Amazon.com too. Cause if you can't contribute, those reviews do help me sell books.

Okay, we're getting down to the home stretch and I'm debating on whether I should post the last chapter. I mean you're going to know that the drama is over, but I gotta make a buck some how right?

Did you know that we're a little over 98K on the word count for this book? That's a little over 320 pages in a 6x9 novel. That's pretty good and I've been writing for about what? a month straight? Hey! I should win Nano or something - oh yeah, that's only in November. LOL.
ENJOY...

“There were too many voices outside. The pastor said no one should be around,” Pari said worriedly, starting to walk to the front of the church.

Tanner followed behind her friend. “Maybe we should just lock ourselves in the-“

The front door to the church swung open and Donetello filled the doorway.

Pari and Tanner screamed in fright and ran down the aisle, but the shot of his gun going off made Tanner freeze on the spot. Pari fell at her feet. They had almost made it to the side entrance hallway dor that led out to the exit doors of the church.

Holding her arm, while Tanner helped her up, Pari gasped in pain where she had been shot in. Tanner quickly assessed the damage and was relieved it was just a flesh wound.

Taking off her sweater, she wrapped it around Pari’s arm and then looked back at Donetello who had stopped in the middle of the long aisle pointing the gun at them.

“I’ll kill her if you take another step, Tanner,” Donetello said, standing near the middle of the aisle aiming his gun at them.

Tanner moved Pari behind her for protection.

“What are you doing?” Pari whispered as Tanner nudge her to the doorway.

“He won’t kill me,” Tanner mumbled, trying not to move her lips, but keep eye contact with Donetello.

“Stop moving!” Donetello bellowed.

“Don’t kill her!” Tanner said loudly to him. “Let her go, please. You got me. You got what you want, Donetello.”

He smiled triumphantly. “I told you you’ll never get away from, Tanner. Didn’t I tell you?”

“Are you going to let her go?” Tanner asked.

He shrugged indifferently. “You’re right. I got what I came for.”

Tanner turned to Pari and stuffed her pouch in her hands. They were both crying,
knowing what Tanner was sacrificing and neither being able to escape what was going to happen.
“Get out of here!” Tanner hissed.

“I can’t leave you!” Pari sobbed desperately.

“Go!” Tanner screamed, hoping Pari would leave and find help very soon.

Pari rushed out the door and Tanner closed it behind her.

“Now come here, Tanner,” Donetello said. “You’re all mine.”

Slowly, Tanner turned to face the devil. Wishing all hell would open up and swallow him up.

Because he blessings had come to an end and there was nowhere to run.

She began to walk towards him, her feet feeling as it they were encased in cement and her heart slowly dying. Taking only baby steps, Tanner was frantically trying to think her way out of this.

‘Oh hell, girl! You’re in a church! Start praying!’ she yelled at herself.

Tanner started to pray like she never prayed before.

Tanner's Devil Part 42.1

Okay, now I hope you are still not mad about the cliffhangers. Stop it. We're in the thick of things and more cliffs are expected to happen, but yes we're winding down. I just gotta kill a few people and then we can heal.

Umm, lets check the comments :

Tonya: Remember that the duke is a champion Pugilist and sharp shooter. So he doesn't fight or shoot like a girl. But Del is from the Heart family so that just makes him a bad mo'fo.

Eva: The hearts are never in a story to make things easier.
anon1: I'm typing as fast as possible.

skysix: would you tell them that again?

smitha: It really isn't draggin is it? cause I'll just cause unnecessary deaths just because. Or why don't we just stop and start a new one?

Marlena: Del is the kinda of person who usually knows shit before you see it. so he knew things were going down and if Tanner was dead, he knew Devlin would enjoy getting revenge on Donetello.

Suprina: Queen of Cliffhangers? Wow? Is there money with this crown?

Anon2: Isnt bribing illegal? I'm posting as fast as they are popping out my head, I swear.

Shai: Email me offloop boo, or call me and let me know where you got confused. I know you're in 313 too.

Okay, the bad news is at the bottom of this part:

Tanner's Devil Part 41.2

I was really ready to be cruel and just leave it at the first part (in this piece you're about to read) but I decided I would at leave give you midway through this chapter and try to finish this chapter off today. This one might be a long one cause we got a lot of doors to close, details to fill in, people to take care of and all that bull crap.

Plus I'm still getting those emails, "What happened to Pari?"

I'm getting there, okay. Now is there anything other than Tanner dying, Pari's whereabouts, and the main plot that I'm missing? I want to work everythign thing. I think I got everything, but I want to be sure.

I probably will do a recap on Latasha - might, but I'm so tired of that bitch I'm bought ready to blow her ass up too. LOL.

Enjoy...

Tanner's Devil : Author Interuption

First responses from yesterday and this morning:

Shai: It was pretty nicely cut but isn't anything from Tiffany's.

JDub: I know. I'm sad too. I liked these characters a lot.

Eva: No, there are no midgets I didn't tell you about. you know I usually dont pop things on you. I may hide it, but not just cheat on the story like that. I get annoyed by that from writers.

Sky six (thanks for posting first) thank you for enjoying the story too.

Anon1: Please don't hit the first man you see that looks like Donetello. They might just sue me for what little else my ex hasn't made me pawn, LOL.

And for the others that have sent me emails offline, thank you so much for enjoying the story too. I'm loving it and i do wish I could post it faster.

Last night I rewrote a scene like three times and then I got up this morning and rewrote it some More. I've never done that but like I said before i don't want to cheat you and I want to make sure it's really true to life.

I know Devlin knows nothing about street life and he can't just understand Tanner's reasons for things she did so I can't place him in the middle of the action because he's a duke and dukes just don't know how to handle a P.I.M.P. off the top of his head.

Which is why I did bring in Del. Now I did get a question regarding Del. If you don't know who he is or have never met him, I first introduced him in Stealing Innocence: http://www.lulu.com/content/82604.

And yes he is Lethal Heart's cousin.

I'm almost afraid to post the next chapter, but I should warn you you're going to be upset with me for a second, but please if you know me, you know it just gets better and better.

Now that's the only clue I'm revealing, but I'll understand if you start yelling at me okay. Just use Ms. B when you decided to call me out my name.

(Preparing to pack and leave town so no one can hunt me down and kill me. LOL)

I'll post in an hour.

And this really is the last post for today...LOVE YOU!

Tanner's Devil Part 40.2

In no way am I trying to hold on to the story. Oh please...I'm really trying to finish this baby up, I swear. Over the weekend I worked like a dog! I was even in hurt writing (lawd, help me, please - but at least I didn't have a love scene to do cause those are really hard to do in church while the pastor is screaming Praise Jezus! - sorry for those religious people on the board - just pray for me.)

Oh and for those that want to donate more than just one or five bucks, please go to
http://Paypal.com and send money to my address at hubbooks@yahoo.com. Thanks Chandra (pretty name - I might borrow that for the next story is that okay?).

Okay, let me get the responses out the way before I tell you the bad news which is at the bottom of this post.

Tonya: I hate Donetello too

Shai: Yes, he is and I can't wait either! Eva just started screaming at people and people are just the nicest. Maybe cause they noticed the more I get a donation the more I try to put out. (Hint Hint Hint.)

Anon1: I couldn't post another cause i left work early.

Ruby: I'm really tyring to get done. I really thought i could finish it last week but i'm hoping this week for sure.

Vita: thank you!

Beeutee: I swear I'm not trying to post one at a time and if I do, I try to make them long posts unless I just can't get back to it. Like i said before I'm really not trying to stretch it out.

anon2: no dev's not still sitting on his ass. see following chapter.

Angelina: thank you for understanding the real deal behind the title.

Cinquetta Allen: how could I forget the famous call to my cell phone. I tell all my writing buddies about that one cause I was flabberghasted and honored that a fan would call me.

anon3: I hope Devlin beats Don down too. An itty bitty pulp. Thanks for the support!

anon4: Yes Pari's in deep shyte, but that's a whole 'nother story - literally.

Enjoy....

The scream would not come out, yet there was not one centimeter in her body that she wasn’t feeling terrified. Donetello was here in the flesh gripping against him as if he wanted to break her in half.

“Aren’t you, Tanner?”

“No,” she whispered.

The back of his hand came up and slapped her across the face sending her to the floor. Tanner crawled away toward the vanity, still clutching her bag. Donetello moved slowly beside her and kicked her in the hips. She curled in a ball to protect her stomach.

“Please, don’t!” she begged.

Grabbing a chunk of her hair in his hand, he yanked her up to her knees and ordered in a hiss,
“Say it.”

She could feel the follicles almost popping out her scalp in pain. Stubbornly she shook her head and received another backhanded slap for that to her other cheek. Trying to crawl away again, he caught her by her hair once more and pulled her on her knees again.
He bawled his fist up to punch her.

“Please!” she cried, clutching the front of his shirt desperately. “Donetello, I’m pregnant. I swear. I don’t how, but I am.”

Even more anger raged in his eyes, but his fist relaxed and his whole demeanor calmed instantly. He released the grip to her head and let her collapsed to the floor. “Don’t matter, Tanner. I’m still taking you with me.”

“I don’t want to go back! I don’t want anything to do with you, anymore,” she seethed. “I hate you.”

“And you love him? You wanna stay here and forget where you came from? Get your shit and let’s go.”

She felt like back in the day when he used to come and pick her up from a John’s place.
Clutching the bag to her chest, she stood up and turned away from him to look into a mirror. Her lip had begun to swell on both sides of her face. “Please Dontello. Don’t make me leave now. Let me have the baby for him and then I’ll come to you. I promise.”

Donetello moved up behind her and Tanner felt disgust as he wrapped one arm around her stomach and another arm around her neck. “And take the chance of losing you again?” he asked. “No, Tanner. You’re coming with me. Now you either have two choices: One, you could walk out of here with me just as quietly as I walked in. Or two, you make a big fuss, bring everyone up here to help you and I slaughter each one in front of you including that son of a bitch John that I’ll take great pleasure in gutting like the cracker pig he is.”

Tanner closed her eyes knowing that without a doubt, Donetello would do it.

* * *

When Harrison found Devlin spread out in the middle of the wine cellar floor passed out with three bottles lying around him empty, it was three in the morning.

Even Devlin wasn’t sure how long he had been sleeping, but once awake, he instantly became sober when Harrison asked, “When was the last time you spoke with Lady Tanner, mi’lord?”

Devlin checked his watch. “I went back up to the room at midnight, but it was still locked,” he mumbled, but he wasn’t going to admit that time, unlike the first time had felt kind of empty – as if she hadn’t been there.

Harrison frowned his deep blue eyes, looking highly concerned. “I just had the head servant open the door, so I could check on her because Ruby also knocked after you left with no answer.
He said he hadn’t seen her since she departed the dining room earlier in the evening.

Flinching at the reminder of the earlier evening event, he put Tanner’s wedding ring he had been clutching since then in his pocket and stood up. The room spun for a slight moment, but he shook this off and let Harrison brush off his clothes. A problem seemed to be at hand and he needed all his sensibilities. “Didn’t you say she probably left on the flight with Renaldo to me when I came to you a few hours ago?”

“After you came to me, like I said Ruby followed shortly and expressed concerned. That is why I checked the room to see what she had taken and to gage when she had left and why she had left Ruby when she promised she would take him if she did leave. When I saw all her items still there and no Lady Tanner, with the balcony doors wide opened and tied sheets on the ground in nearby bushes below, I began to worry.”

Devlin shrugged. “So she snuck out.”

Harrison shook his head. “Lady Tanner wouldn’t do that. Not in her condition.”

“What condition?”

Tanner's Devil Part 40.1

Okay, be careful what you ask (anonymous on bended knee.) This is the last post of the day. I should also warn you that I might be especially busy working and realy tired tomorrow, because I'll be up late at the book talk. (My bed times 8 on Tuesday.)

And no threats Tonya. And no calling the phone demanding for me to finish (you know who you are.)

I've just alerted authorities on all y'all...

Enjoy...

++++++++++++++

Getting to the bedroom, she locked the door and collapsed her back against the beautiful thick oak wood. Slowly sliding down, she finally was able to cry and she did so, very hard, shaking and sobbing covering her face. Drawing her knees up to her chest, she buried her face down with her arms around her head and cried some more.

Devlin’s words had really hurt more than she realized and she didn’t want anything to do with him, yet her soul had already connected to him and she knew he would be hard to resist - Harder than Donetello had ever been to resist. Devlin had left in indelible mark on her heart forever and it wasn’t because she was carrying his child.

Putting her head up, she reached for her bag to dig in it to get her purse and find some tissue to blow her nose. It was then she noticed something strange about her surroundings – a different smell and feel about the place. Usually she felt safe and secure, but she found herself slowly standing up and being very wary of where she was.

Looking around the room, she noticed that the balcony doors were opened and her trunk was opened as if it had been riffled through, which was strange. Had a servant come in looking for something? Maybe Harrison?

Pounding on her door, she jumped startled, clutching her bag to her chest in fright.

“Tanner, opened the door,” Devlin ordered on the other side.

She didn’t speak too scared of what she might say – wanting to give in no matter what he came to say to her and hating herself for wanting to just give in so easily.

“Tanner,” he called.

Walking up to the door, she pressed her face against it and closed her eyes. He was right there. She could feel him. He knew she was also against the door.

In a whisper, she heard him say, “I’m sorry. I am an ass. I’m all the awful things you said and think now, but I love you, Tanner Sanchez.”

She began to cry again and placed her hand on the lock of the door to open it. Suddenly, a hand gripped her own and she looked up into deep brown cold eyes. A scream wanted to leap out her mouth in terror, as a cold wind from nowhere seemed to chill her to the bone.

Devlin’s footsteps rescinded from the door as she was jerked away from the door.

“Isn’t that sweet,” Donetello said, pulling her hard against his body. “Too bad for him that you’re mine.”

Tanner's Devil: Author Interuption

yes, I know you hate these, especially the old readers and especially near the end of the book.

This is where I make a decision... to post or not to post... that is the question.

(smiling wickedly)

Let me ponder that for a moment while I chat and respond to people.

First, I'm a pretty good predictor of my stories, aren't I? I said about 40 chapters and we're hitting 40. Can you believe that?

I'm good (doing the happy dance.)

Second, guess who called me... well that's just a crazy and annoying question. Of course you wouldn't be able to guess. Yahoo called me. I swear. I was skeptical at first too. They'd been emailing me about December telling me they wanted to speak to me about my 360 experience and they set a date and time twice and had to reschedule it until today at 1pm (which is why the post was all phucked up.) Anyway, she enjoyed my experience so much that she asked if I'd be interested in participating in any media things that they were working on to do in the next couple of months.

We'll see, but that'd be so fun being in a yahoo commercial. I'm ordinary enough, aren't I?

(I'm still thinking if I should post)

Thirdly is responses to the comments. Boy are you guys on a roll. The days not over and I'm at 700 hits! LOL. We might actually see that counter get to 1000 if I decided to post one more, huh? (teasing you greatly)

Anonymous 1: I'm doing the happy dance too cause Latasha was getting on my last nerve. And you're right, money don't always make you happy, but it sure would get me a nice car, when I don't have one at all. LOL (hint hint hint)

Anonymous 2: Speaking of bended knee, I'm gonna tell you a secret about me. Something i rarely tell people, but my ex-husband didn't even get on his knee to ask me to marry him. Matter of fact, I've rarely had a man get on a knee for anything for me except once we were sneaking into the movies and me and this co-worker of mine had to get over a wall. He got on his knee and let me use his shoulders to climb on....I'm still thinking about one more installment.

Sweets: I couldn't knock Lady Emma, but it was nice taking her down a peg or two.

Anonymous 3: Thank you for having this as one of the best stories you've read in a long time. Do yu read much though? LOL. Just kidding. You could be like Zane sitting there reading it so that would be some type of honor.

Anonymous 4: (read Anonymous 3 remark)

Tonya: Well they just might all get on the plane with me after you read Chapter 40, LOL. I'm going to take that compliment, praise and statement (snatching it from the air) and claim it. I like how you think. Alright how many of you are now calling every bookstore you know and demanding that they order Mistaken Identity so I can get on the Essence Best seller list. I figure if I got all the people reading this blog to get bookstores they know to order the books and then send fifty friends to the store to buy the book, I'll most definitely be on the best sellers by the end of April.

Anonymous 5: This is the same person that almost just dropped her Blackberry in the toilet? How many stalls do you have at your work place? Are there any job openings there because I wanna work where you work! LOL.

This has been a pretty interesting day. Tonight I go to Farwell Middle School and meet with Parents who have been reading Stone's Revenge. It's going to be interesting to see what they thought of that story and they might be a little crazy about it too. Cause that was a rollercoaster ride too. LOL.

I'm nervous as hell. The bad news is that I can get there, but I might have to catch a cab or bus home from the school cause my brother can only drop me off, not take me home.

I'm still going and hopefully I can find a way to get home.

Okay... I'm still thinking if I should post or not, so let me hold off for a moment.

Tanner's Devil Part 39.2

over 800 hits yesterday?! Wow! I'm taking you're very excited about what's going on.

Me too.

First responses to the comments:

1st anonymous: sorry about you almost dropping your blackberry while trying to sneak and read at work, but that's just so cool you can read it on your phone. you're terrible!

Marlena: Need an explanation for what?

Sweets: Yes, I was writing the next section, but I waited til today to post cause I just love cliffhangers.

2nd anonymous: Never judge a book by its cover? But some people when they are hurt do and say stupid stuff, right?

3rd anonymous: uhhm, I don't know how to respond to aw crap, but thanks for leavign a post. LOL.

4th anonymous: i'm honored you're on bended knee, LOL. But I'm only writing what the characters are doing (I know that sounds looney, but this is playing out live in myhead and I'm not sure where this might lead.) I'll try not to make him look like an ass - not. This is fun.

5th anonymous: I wonder about that too. Would you like to know? (laughing wickedly)

Okay, thanks for the comments and here is the next installment. Talk to you later and I'll really try to post before I leave for the day.

Enjoy...

Tanner's Devil Part 38.1

Leavign early for the day. Got meetings and so forth.

Okay, don't prosecute me about the medical terminology and so forth. On the final, I'll go back and straighten it out so it's better explained, but I've been so bogged down with things Icouldn't think straight. I just knew what they wanted to say.

Talk to you Monday and we will be done with this one by next week. (no promises but i'm sure gonna try.)

Enjoy...

Author Interuption Part 2: Drawing the Line & Dark Facade Updates

So there's no repeat of single emails:

Dark Facade :

experiencing technical difficulties. And when My hair started falling out over the matter i had to step away from it and will be getting it up and finished once i can.

Drawing the Line

When Dark Facade was pushed back, so was this one. It's ready to go, I just need to get it together.

Tanner's Devil: Author Interuption - What's Next!

I've been weirdly busy today. Too weirdly to explain

I worked on one paragraph from 8am to 1pm and now I'm busting my butt to add the chapter.

I'm sorry bout that. You know how you've been high all the time and when you aren't high you're sluggish.

I feel like that today.

Umm, someone emailed me and asked me about my next project?

Oh Lawd, after this I don't think I'll be posting until the third week in April. I need a brain break.

I did Teach me to Love and then hopped right into Tanner's Devil.

I was thinking of a summer contest for the blog but I'd have to start it soon. details later.

I want to finish working out the technical difficulties on Dark Facade and then put the closing chapters on Other Side of Love and Stealing Innocence III. (Lethal's working my nerve).

I would like to get some sleep, but I'll be doing a lot of touring and some book signings in like Florida, Indiana and I was thinking about getting over to the New York so if there are fans there, please keep in touch so we can set up some booksignings, or if you know some bookstores that wouldnt mind accomadating me, i'd love to know. I'll post my dates soon as I've booked.

I know the Florida one will be in Tallahassee, but I'm arriving on Friday at 12 on April 7th and I'll be leaving in the afternoon that Sunday, so hit me up if you know a hook up we can arrange.

Indiana won't be until June . Matter of fact, I'll be there twice. June 2nd and 3rd and then for the Indianapolis book fest June 17th.

I was hoping I could do something in Chicago, but I haven't caught wind of anything.

I know in May 6th in Detroit is the AA REad in where I'll be doing a skit of Mistaken Identity. So anyone interested please come and attend. you'll like it. We'll be doing part 11. except we're stopping at the kissing scene. (kids might be there.)

Posting soon. Sorry bout the wait.

Tanner's Devil Part 37.1

Good Afternoon,
I'm going to try and post one more time today to finish off this chapter. I will try, LOL.

Umm, if anyone has any open issues with the story can you add to the post so I can make sure I've closed up all doors. I think I covered I have covered everything small (I'm not talking about the big issues - pregnancy, romance between devlin and tanner, and what's going on with Pari.) I know I have to go back for a better description of Devlin and so forth, but I need to know any open story lines that I may have forgotten before I wrap it all up in about a couple more chapters.

If you're interested in meeting Armando after this passage, you can download FREE (of course) Road to Freedom at:

Tanner's Devil Part 36

Getting depressed because this story is coming to an end and I have lots of love for Tanner and Devlin.

DON'T BE MAD AT ME FOR WHAT YOU'RE ABOUT TO READ! And I've already issued the PPO out for Tonya in Dallas (you should be receiving the papers in the mail, LOL.) They wouldn't let me do a PPO on Anonymous because they said it could be anyone. I tried to convince them that Anonymous is real, but the officer looked at me like I was crazy. Durnit!

Okay, ttyl!

Enjoy....

Tanner's Devil: Author Interuption

I was really trying to put up another chapter. (You think you know me so well, Marlena, LOL.)

But the hour is late and I gotta hitch a ride to pick up the kiddies.

Oh my lord, it's getting good.

I should warn you, but we are wrapping up this baby hopefully by the end of the week.

Since i'm done with training, I should be very able to give you a great story by the end of the week, or just leave you on cliffhanger until the end (smiling wickedly).

see ya tomorrow.

Tanner's Devil Part 35.3

In the novel, i will work the prior scene out more, so it might be even hotter, LOL.

So this might be my last this day.

And yes, it is a cliffhanger!

Enjoy....

I was shocked to see the jump in the car donation fund. Thank you so much!

Also, thank you to the reader that translated the conversation between Renaldo and Devlin. That was just the cutest! I'm going to put it in the final edition of the book and loop it around Tanner's reaction to the discussion.!

The morning was so busy and I swear I had a million and one emails. Thanks for sticking with me!

Tanner's Devil: It's coming!

I had an appointment this morning and I'm just sitting down to the computer.

I'll be posting in about thirty minutes.

Tanner's Devil Part 33.1 (c) 2006 Sylvia Hubbard

If you haven't posted about the story and the book cover, please post now. I'd love to hear what you have to say about it. And yes, I'm getting to Pari's little bit, but her real story will be in another story called Emperor's Paridise which I think I mentioned back in the day. (Old readers should know Emperor is Lethal's cousin and if you don't know who Lethal is read Stealing Innocence I (http://lulu.com/SylviaHubbard.)

The baby bit, well you're gonna have to wait. I'm working on that as we speak and tomorrow while I hear the drone of the teacher's voice in training there is no doubt I'll be working out that and loving every minute of it.

I should warn you, there's only going to be no more than 40 chapter in this story. Although I don't know the ending per se on paper, I've mapped it out in the back of my head. I hardly ever go over 40 to 45 chapters. The word count right now is 72,000! Did you read that right people. Yes, I said 72,000. Now that's all the more reason to donate to the car fund, don't you think? Hint! Hint! Hint!

Have a great day, afternoon and night!

Tanner's Devil Part 32.2

Thanks for the comments on the book. Okay, I'll look for another picture for the book. A more interacial couple - right? If you guys have a suggestion, please let me know. I figured the black/white background would also serve as a metaphor for and I/R theme, but we'll work on the picture.

I'll post as much as I can. I'm catching up on my notes, so I might get a little slower and don't forget, I'll be in training tomorrow!

Almost 600 hits again yesterday! Wow! That's pretty good.

Keep Passing along the word to others. I'm so appreciative and grateful to have wonderful readers who spread the word.

I've updated the download to part 30 so if you have someone new who wants to catch up, they can download it at:
http://www.lulu.com/content/231548 (Angelina thank you for the review! That was so cool!)

Feeling much better today. My throat still bothering and now my sinuses are just dripping. I'll keep flushing with Listerine and taking major Tylenol until it I feel 100% better.

Don't forget also that Mistaken Identity is now available to order on Amazon.com (
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0977443515/qid=1141216962/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/104-1684983-0436742?s=books&v=glance&n=283155and ) at bookstores so please start demanding it and I hope to be able to come to your city to do a book signing. That'd be so cool!

Enjoy....
